Position: Visual Grind Blast
PURPOSE:
To provide a high level of support in the production of finished casting through the visual inspection of product and the repair as needed.
INPUTS AND OUTPUTS:
What and How Output
1. Ability to identify and correct visual defects
Quality pieces provided to the next operation
on router-inevitably shipping
2. Operate Hand tools Quality pieces provided to the next operation on router-inevitably shipping
3. Input data into Labor Tracking Accurate tracking for traceability and costing
4. Review/Interpretation of Dispatch List “Hands free” scheduling. Operator working on the correct jobs for ultimate efficiency
5. Compliance with Health/Safety/ Organized-Safe working environment
6. Excellent Attendance Production Goals being met/shipping on time
7. Ability to meet departmental Production
Goals		 Continuous cost improvement
8. Works within “Cell” as a team player Provides more efficient output of product

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
1. Experience Sand Blasting preferred but not required.
2. High School/GED/Relative Work Experience
3. Ability to read and comprehend departmental work instructions
4. Basic Math and reading comprehension
5. Excellent eye hand coordination
