| PURPOSE: |
| To acquire the skills necessary to achieve the levels of certification in the FPI, Xray, or MPI department that will permit the individual to process and inspect product through the various NDT departments |

1) Acquire the skills and knowledge to achieve certification to the appropriate level.
2) Consistently meet Quality and Efficiency requirements.
3) Good written and verbal skills, the ability to interface with internal and external customers.
4) The operator is expected to show continuous and satisfactory progress in the work responsibilities as determined by their supervisor.
5) Follow the appropriate Operating type A & B work instructions.
6) The ability to make decisions based on judgment if required.
7) Acquire the skill necessary to certify to multiple NDT disciplines.
8) Must be aware of any health or safety hazards or products in the department as described in the
manual used for the department.
9) Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

| REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: |
1) High School graduate or equivalent.
2) Qualified to the requirements of NAS 410 at the appropriate levels.
3) Good reading comprehension.
4) Ability to comprehend and follow customer requirements and department work instructions and
make decisions based on judgment when required.
5) Good teamwork skills.
6) Ability to work with minimal supervision.
7) Ability to distinguish between acceptable and unacceptable product.
8) Basic math skills.
9) Basis blueprint reading. |

faulty parts, equipment, materials or any unusual conditions to the proper supervision.
