Who We Are
Founded in 1945, BESCAST has grown through the years into a modern, precision investment casting facility, specializing in cast air foil configurations, with a heavy emphasis on gas turbine engine and compressor components such as integrally-cast compressor wheels, turbine wheels, turbine nozzles, fuel pump impellers, shrouded gas compressor impellers and combustion swirlers.

COMPANY TIMELINE
1940s
Brown Pattern Works serviced the Cleveland area sand cast founderies.
1950s
Brown Engineering Service Company develops aluminum precision casting techniques for fuel impellers using plaster of paris molding.
1960s
BESCAST, Inc. formed and expanded to cast steel in Shaw solid mold process. Received two patents for unique mold making process for impellers.
1970s
Developed shell molding process and expanded to include vacuum casting of super alloys, turbine engine impeller and compressor wheel components.
1980s
BESCAST further expanded casting and machining capabilities.
1990s
10,000 square foot plant expansion; BESCAST increases global customer base.
2000+
Rapid Prototyping Wax Jet Pattern Capability added; partnership with AGI and Lilly Software begins; engineering, customer service and management offices and capabilities expanded; certified supplier awards earned from Argo-Tech, GE Aircraft Engines, Goodrich, Hamilton Sundstrand, Parker Hannifin, Rolls Royce, Solar Gas Turbines.
